Brades Farm, FarletonConsumers today are increasingly concerned about the origin of the food they buy. They want to buy fresh, healthy food that has been produced by careful, sustainable agricultural methods, maintaining the natural beauty of the countryside and providing a safe, healthy habitat for wildlife.

That's why people are rediscovering small, traditional suppliers like ourselves, who sell locally produced food at competitive prices, in line with time-honoured farming methods.

Environment and Animal Welfare:
At Brades Farm, we observe the most environmentally sustainable farming practices, ensuring that we can safeguard our natural heritage for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations.

As a local supplier with our own on-site milk processing plant, we can ensure that our products travel direct to the retailer and to the customer's doorstep. This means that we can offer a freshness and shelf-life that larger, national suppliers would find hard to match, and - because our products travel a shorter distance - less fuel is used and less pollution is created, all of which is good news for the environment.

We are highly aware of our responsibility to ensure that our animals don't have a damaging effect on the environment, and we are actively involved in environmental regeneration activities in the Lune Valley area.

Working closely with the RSPCA, we are proud of our commitment to animal welfare, so you can be confident about the way we look after our animals. Our animals graze on luscious pasture, giving them the freedom to express their natural behaviour.

Dairy Products - Facilities and Capacity:
Brades Farm has its own milk processing plant so we can handle all production processes on site without being reliant on other companies. We can therefore ensure that the strictest quality control procedures are followed at every stage.
